Rookie Joshua D. Paige (Goony Spliff) is a new rap artist, that was born in ST. Thomas, Virgin Islands and raised in the Stafford areas of Houston, TX.
Paige found his love for music at the early age of 11. Then as a young teen, age 13, he later took up rapping.After many years of hanging with close neighborhood friends and other local artist in Houston, he became more inspired to seriously start his own music grind. He has been on his own music scene for about a year and a half . Paige is also working to get his talent noticed by participating in "Kick Back Sundays" at SF2 ( Sneakers and Fashion) one of Houston's hottest places for urban shoes, clothing and music.
Paige dropped his first mixtape project just last year entitled "Fuck College". I gotta say this mixtape was well done! I do agree with his fellow team members that he did need more original beats and what not. But I will not deny the fact that he killed each track! I believe "Fuck College" was just a sample. I really get a taste of his 'tell it how I see it' attitude while he definitely has that high chill confidence something like top emcee Snoop Dogg. A few of the tracks that I dig personally are "Pull da Hammer", "Kush", "Make it Rain Trick" Freestyle, "All I want is you", and "Get Off Me".
